Sara Utecht & Daisy

Registered Massage Therapist

Sara graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2018, having moved to Canada from the UK in 2016. Prior to her career as a massage therapist, Sara spent several years in London working as a financial journalist. Her journey into massage therapy began after a chronic back injury from competitive judo in her teens. Through her recovery, Sara discovered the transformative benefits of massage in relieving pain, sparking her desire to help others find relief.

Sara is dedicated to helping her patients reach their treatment goals effectively through both therapy and education. She incorporates a range of techniques, including Swedish massage, active and passive stretching, myofascial release, and joint mobilization, tailoring each session to individual needs.

Sara is visually impaired and is accompanied daily by her guide dog, Daisy, who has become a beloved part of her practice. Outside of work, Sara enjoys running, going to the gym, cross-country skiing, and, naturally, spending time with Daisy. She’s also an avid reader and a devoted fan of Leicester City in the UK Premiership. Currently, she’s expanding her expertise with a course in canine massage.
